I'm using LogMeIn to control a remote machine. It's a Mac Mini running 10.4.11 which has worked impeccably until now. My machine at home is an iMac running 10.5. I use this to remotely use an identical iMac and access the Mac Mini via screen sharing on the remote iMac.
I've managed to log into the iMac and access the Mac Mini just fine - both via a direct 'go to server' connection and via screen sharing - no network issues. But when I try to open any applications on the Mini, the icon will bounce a couple of times and then stop. This happens on them all, including Disk Utility. If I try to force quit from the apple menu, it opens Skype!!! Something seriously screwed up then.
If I open Disk Utility on the iMac with the idea of it seeing the Mac Mini enabling me to do whatever needs to be done (repair permissions), I can't see it. What can I do from the iMac to be able to fix the Mini that it's connected to? Hope that all makes sense...
