At $750 it must be for professional users.
Is there anything "free" or real inexpensive out there? I'm thinking I can use it to help my parents in learning how to use the pc....

TeamViewer is free for non-commercial use. I use it to remotely access my parents' and grandparents' computers. Works like a charm

What version of Windows do you have? The "Pro" versions support remote desktop connection, and there is a OS X client available for free. Go to microsoft.com and search "remote desktop mac"

This works just like screen sharing on OS X.

Thank you for that! I've been looking for a free easy solution that would only involve me installing software on my mac. My mom has an XP machine that is rather far away, and it is nice to be able to help her from 300+ miles away. Figures that solution would be from microsoft itself :)
