Hey everyone, ever had to step away from your computer for just a moment, only to return and realize you were marked as offline in Teams or Slack? It's frustrating, especially when working remotely, where visibility is key. I’ve been in this situation too many times, so I created a Mac app called IdleGuard. It keeps your system active and ensures you stay visible, even during those quick breaks. How do you all manage this? Would love to hear your solutions!

Sounds awful, sorry to hear you guys have to show as online all the time. I sometimes purposely close teams to get some uninterrupted focus time. Probably a culture thing, company and country. I’m in Germany and work as a project manager for a Japanese company.

Interesting solutions though, especially the hardware mouse cursor thingy :)
