Hey Everyone!

This is my first post here, but I've looked all over and haven't found an answer.

I am in charge of creating and managing the music that is played at a restaurant. We use an iPod nano currently, but I'm open to switching to another device. I live about 45 minutes away from the restaurant, and it would be amazing if I could update the playlists on the iPod remotely. All music that goes on the playlists is purchased through the same apple ID.

Everything I've found online talks about using the remote app or something similar with both devices on the same wifi network. But I'm looking for an option that would work with the device on a separate wifi network. There is wifi at the restaurant.

Any advice or guidance you might be able to give would be great!

Make a VPN connection so that the iPod will be on the "same" network, your network. It should work, its basically how employees connect to the office when they are away.

Otherwise you might look into music streaming on the iPod and then control the music on your side.
