Remove battery icon Menubar

How do I remove the battery icon from Menubar and just leave it as a percentage?

You might be interested in SlimBatteryMonitor. It isn't exactly what you're looking for, but it gets you halfway. What you request doesn't seem to exist. Although you might try the tips in this thread. Maybe something like this will work:

Click on the battery icon in your menu bar. Scroll down to "Show" and select "Percentage".
