Drag what you don't want to the Trash. If the app provides any uninstaller you can use it.

I used Xslimmer for the unnecessary languages and code etc.

Then for unwanted programs free trials etc use Appcleaner

thanks guys! i guess xslimmer is what i was looking for! is there a free version/third party/open source comparable to xslimmer? im not sure how many times ill be using it..most likely once just to remove the unwanted stuff and thats about it.

Be careful when using monolingual if you have msoffice 2008. This messed me up. I used it on msoffice 2008 and after could not update the software. I had to reinstalled the full msoffice 2008 to update software.

how safe is it to remove architectures? currently shows that my architectures is intel x64 bits.

is it safe to remove the other architectures such as all the "G" series?

BTW, this is under monolingual app.

What "trial" programs are on the OSX install disk?

I've only installed it once but don't remember any. Of course I did a custom install and left a bunch of crap off.

I removed all non-intel code with Monlingual haven't had any problems 11 months down the line! Go for it! Use Apptrap to uninstall programs and remove all the additional files related with that program also.

There have been many people saying that Monolingual is not a very good tool to remove Architectures. I would not remove it, because you never know when an application needs it or you need it. Does not take that much room either.

If you are woried about saving hard drive space, I would go to ~/Library/Preferences and clean up those. Everything is safe to remove, but I would not recommend removing any com.apple,,, files.
