Is there any way to remove the clock and date from the iPad Home Screen? Not the menu bar. Cheers

Seems like a waste of space, with great clock and calendar widgets now. Just toggle off the clock and date display would be sweet.

just noticed that you can do it on the iPhone but not on the iPad even though both offer widgets. how strange, very inconsistent
How so on the iPhone. I just got my first smartphone. SE2. Loving it. Oh, I’m 55 and have 3 iPads.

The iPhone has a remove app button. iPad does not.

I am guessing you can’t remove it from the Home Screen since the iPad has no App Library

Your saying by deleting the clock app it removes the time and date from the lock screen and displays only the photo/ wallpaper?

Right, iPadOS doesn't currently support the App Library. That said, it doesn't seem like that's what the question was about (unless perhaps I mistook it for something else myself) -- seems like it was in relation to the time and date that gets displayed on the Lock Screen/Today Screen/Notification Center.
