Remove DRM from purchased songs?

why are some songs only "uploaded and not matched even though if i clear album artwork itunes can find the album artwork because its a song that is in the itunes store..

DRM sucks. If it's an album i want I usually buy the cd used. Cheaper, can rip it how you want and when your tired, can sell it.

You realise this is:

a) an old thread,

b) itunes music (and amazon and most other online shops) no longer sell DRM music.

Okay, so basically the easiest way to do this is to pay $25 for iTunes Plus, download the nonDRM versions and then cancel iTunes Plus. I'll have to suck it up and do this.

Removing drm from itunes music

Were you successful in removing the drm from your itunes music? i'm encountering the same problem. Most of the post i read are from years back and don't work now. Any help would be appreciated.
