Remove installer

Just installed an Xcode 4.1 update and I want to remove the 'Install Xcode' app/icon from Launchpad. Any ideas?

Clicking the delete button in the screenshot does nothing.

*UPDATE*
Tried a restart, clicked delete and the icon disappeared. I then re-opened Launchpad and it was back. This is ridiculous...
