Never quite sure
I have a menubar item stuck in my menubar. Any ideas how to remove it?

It is linked to a piece of software I don't use called EpocCam. Help option just sends me here:
Thanks!

First, if you are not using the software you should turn it off. If it is starting up when you log in or start up the computer, check your System Preferences>Users & Groups>Login Items. If it's not on that list then somewhere in the software's preferences there must be a setting.

Second, you might be able to command-click-hold-drag it off…but be aware that if the first thing above isn't taken care of it will return to the menubar when you restart.

Yeah - unfortunately I've tried all that. It's not present in login items:

The software has no preference pane:

And I'm unable to drag it off the menubar. I get a "disallowed" sign.

Any other ideas?!? It must be hiding somewhere...

Look in all these folders and see if there is a launch item for that app in one of them.

~/Library/LaunchAgents (~ is your users folder)
/Library/LaunchAgents
/Library/LaunchDaemons
/Library/StartupItems
/Library/Extensions
/System/Library/Extensions/
