Space is getting a bit short on my HD, and I decided to use Baseline to check where it al has gone. Much space seems to be taken up by iPhone apps, and in particular multiple versions of the same app. I assume these are updates and the original one (all mostly the same size for one app).

Can anyone tell me whether it's save to delete the first versions and keep only the most recent?

Cannot validate this...but I would be careful as backup data is stored somewhere in there and if you remove version 1, it may remove your current game stats for example. I deleted two from Aurora Feint and it started me again as a new player but remembered my character just not my current progress. Again, until someone can confirm, I would refrain from deleting Apps out of the folder. Try taking some of your movies and moving them to an external drive for storage to free up computer drive space.

    Good Luck

Thanks for the advice. Still quite a crappy system though. Some programmers keep churning updates out on a weekly basis. I can imagine one having a lot of apps quickly seeing this folder blow up...
