is there a free way to remove partitions on a PowerMac G4 running 10.3.9? I'm pretty sure you can resize volumes in Terminal, but what I'd like is to do away with about 3 partitions on my HD altogether.

I know iPartition will do it, but I'm a little leery of spending that kind of money for something I'll use probably once.

back-up, reformat, & reinstall using disk utility...free as free can be :)

Stay away from the terminal unless you know what you are doing (very powerful, not for newbies), or someone here offers the appropriate commands that you can copy & paste......

well yea, but the idea is to not do that.

I feel very comfortable working in terminal.
