M mba123 macrumors newbie Original poster Dec 15, 2012 #1 Does anyone know how to remove a pin once it is placed on the Google Maps app without rebooting the app? I can't seem to find a way and consequently the pin information bar takes up part of my lower screen.

cal6n macrumors 68020 Dec 15, 2012 #3 If it's a pin from a search, then clearing the search field should also clear the relevant pins. If it's a pin left on the map after a long press on a location, then tapping another part of the screen should clear it.
