Discovered the Terminal command to remove the shadow from screenshot.

defaults write com.apple.screencapture disable-shadow -bool TRUE

Hit Return and now type:

killall SystemUIServer

And Return again.

I entered it and still have shadow.
I've even tried the technique of holding the Option key while takin the screenshot.

This is in Mojave.


The Terminal command to speed up the Dock delay works just fine.

Pressing and holding the Option key while clicking to take the screenshot works here - macOS Catalina 10.15.2 on 2019 MBA.
