i just got my mac book pro a few days ago, does anyone know how to get rid of some unecesary files to clean up the hard drive? leopard takes up so much room

garage band support files take up alot of room. Or just wait for snow leopard in september. It will cut space significantly.

The best way to do this is to reinstall Leopard, and do a custom installation of it. Then you can select exactly what pieces you install. Deleting things like language files after the OS is already installed can result in breaking the OS or other applications.
