Removed iOS 12 beta profile but still downloading?

once the GM iOS 12 was out, I updated my iPhone and iPad and then removed both profiles. My iPhone was fine, but my iPad seems to still want to update - it is currently tellling me to update to the 12.1 public beta.

Anyone had a similar issue?

Did you remove it and then restart the iPad?

Let it download, delete the update from iPhone Storage, and reboot the device. It should be gone and won't redownload.
