Thanks for your helpful contribution. I didn't think this was reddit.

You're welcome. It's not reddit, it's MacRumors; and I am giving you an excellent highly sourced rumor. I hope you find the phone that makes you happy.

I'm pretty sure its too big haha plus it may bend?

On a side note I have an $80 anti radiation case for the 6 so it makes sense to stick with that I guess

Mine is straight as an arrow - no bends whatsoever. No hair-gate, no print-gate, no vibrate-gate (I'm fine with the louder vibrate sound), no yellow screen gate, and no they-can't-hear-my-voice-on-the-other-end gate.

It's really not big at all. Sort of looks small after having it for 5 days now.

this is the type of guy that comes to the apple store with a piece of tape alongside the iSight camera on his mac, lol. Radiation case.

You're obviously too picky on your phone thinking that an LCD should have NO dead pixels.

Wait, it's OK to have dead pixels on a screen as small as a phone and one that costs close to $1000? Really? Even Apple itself doesn't think so.

The 6S will be a boring incremental update, the 7 will be a total redesign. Get the 6 now and get the hottest thing out there, then you get to get the exciting new 7 too.

I used to be on the S cycle which was fine, but it got boring. Only plus was that accessories were readily available on launch day, whereas for a new design you have to wait a bit for the better accessories.

Perhaps you ought to return to reddit then. As your contribution has less value than you think.

Here's how it works.

You get to choose the questions you ask.

You don't get to choose the answers.

I'll stay right here, thank you very much.

I hope you find something that pleases you.

Well if you are going from one S generation to the next its a new design for you. So not really anything boring or much different from those going from non-S to the next non-S.

Everyone else is contributing, you are not. Either you envy my iPhone's i had or you're simply an annoyance of the world. Left out by everybody until you had to resort to ******** on some forum.

What are you yapping about now? I gave you my advice. Use it or move on, at this point you're just embarrassing yourself.

I truly hope you find something that makes you happy. Good luck.

Originally I came from a SGS5, returned it due to faults, got an iPhone 6, returned two models with screen issues. Currently waiting to purchase another one in a few weeks or so and hopefully it won't have quality issues.

My question is this: I currently do not have a phone and after reading some potential features of the iPhone 6s/7 today, I'm wondering if it's worth purchasing the 6 at all?

I could buy a cheaper phone like a moto G and wait out for the 7/6s. I understand that no matter when I buy a phone that a new one will be coming out soon after but I just am not sure if the iP6 is worth getting? I was pretty un-impressed with the battery life but the 6+ was too big for me to justify buying.

Opinions? Thanks.

Do you like the look of the 6? Do you like the specs? despite the screen issues did you enjoy the general experience? If yes then buy the phone, if not grab a Moto G and wait until next year. Only you can really answer your question.

As a side note I grabbed a Moto G 2014 on sale, I use a 5C but wanted something to keep up with what's going on with Android. It's a very nice budget phone and I ended up buying another one for the missus and she loves it.

What a load of crap. Cultist Alert!

I have had a Ipad 1, 2 and 4 no dead pixels, the Ipad Air I bought had no dead pixels(just a terrible yellow streak).

My Iphone 4S, 5 and 5C had no dead pixels.

None of my LCD TV's have had dead pixels, or my countless PC monitors.

So yes dead pixels are not to be expect, especially on equipment sold as a premium device.

Actually by this point in LCD's lifespan dead pixels are completely unacceptable. They're becoming fairly rare on high-end panels and that's how it should be.

A $650+ device which is essentially an interactive display should be held to the standards of a "high grade" panel. I would call a dead pixel a legitimate reason for exchange.

Honestly I wouldn't accept it on something like the Note 4 either. OLED is a newer tech, but those devices are marketed almost entirely on the screen quality.

The radiation case is hilarious though, no argument on that one. Sorry OP, and I hope it actually does work, I just can't help finding it funny.

Do you want iOS?

If yes, then yes it's worth it.

Don't wait until next September for an iPhone that might only be a minor upgrade. Knowing Apple recently I'm not expecting much.

Wait for the 6+; it's only 9 months away.
