Removing Account Info from the App Store

I'm selling my first generation iphone and when i'm clearing out the information i noticed my email address is still in the app store is there a way of clearing that information out? I changed my password on itunes but i didnt see anywhere to remove my email address information and it still prompts for a password, has anyone come across this yet?

Restore it and don't let it sync.

The method of overwriting all data during a phone reset might be a good place to start looking if you want to clear all data out of your phone.
