I really have no use for the Boot Camp partition to show on my desktop. As you can see, I've unchecked hard disks from Finder preferences. Does anyone know how to get rid of the Untitled partition?

I've never tried it, but I have read that renaming the partition (in Windows) to a name beginning with . works 🙂
That worked. I remember reading something about being able to write on the Windows partition. In case I want to do that, how do I get the partition to show up again?
You can only write to the Windows partition if it was formatted as a FAT32 volume. In any case, the partition will remount the next time you boot OS X, or you can do it manually from within Disk Utility.
Sure, that works, but mine shows back up again every time I reboot. Is there a way to have it "auto-eject" on login? Maybe with an Automator?
