Removing History/Bookmarks from Address Bar results

I'm running safari 7.1 on 10.9.5 and can't seem to find an option to remove the History/Bookmarks suggested address when typing into the address bar. I'd like to be able to remove that option if possible.

Hope someone has a suggested fix.

edit: I have tried privacy mode and that does not do it. and deleting my bookmarks and clearing history often is not a solution either.

I really hate to do a bump but ...

Am I to understand there is no way to prevent others from seeing my bookmarks/history when they use my MB safari?
