removing .html

I want to remove the .html from one of my web pages.
ie: http://kentlandstkd.com/students.html

I want to to be http://kentlandstkd.com/students

how do I remove it, if at all possible....

"students" needs to be the name of the enclosing folder (in other words, create a new folder "students"); then rename your students.html to index.html and place it in that new folder.

What you are really seeing when you see http://kentlandstkd.com/students is http://kentlandstkd.com/students/index.html, but you don't need to type it all out http://kentlandstkd.com/students is enough.
