I never use Internet Explorer.

Can I just drag the app into the trash?
Are there any other files/folders that need to be deleted?

Unless, of course, someone can give me a good reason to keep it.

I can't think of a single good reason to keep it, unless you do web design and need to make sure that your sites are IE-compatible.

Drag that sucka to the trash.

Or if you're a poor sap like me whose corporate intranet doesn't play friendly with Safari. Bastards.

Thanks for the replies.

If I experience problems with Safari I switch to Firefox.
I think I may have used IE a couple of times when I first got my mac, but not since.

I'm gonna trash it - is there anything else i need to delete?

How much free space do you have? I wouldn't necessarily go 'round deleting too much unless you need the space. Having said that, the printer drivers, the iDVD themes and some of the Garageband loops can take up quite a large amount of space. :)
