I have an iPhone X I’m worried that it is gonna get damaged when removing from my speck case. It’s very hard to get out. It feels like I’m gonna snap my iPhone in half or bend it while trying to get it out. Will it mess the phone up or bend it removing it?

Unless you are the an angry Bruce Banner when you go to remove it you'll be fine. Speck has been making cases for a while and I can't think of an instance that someone bent their phone taking the case off.

If you can, start working the case around different corners to open it, try not to force too much on one side when removing the case, and it should come apart rather easily.

Just took off mine after a strong push through the camera hole. Am now filled with anxiety that I've bent my XS. The 8 ft drop protection claim was nice, but never buying Speck ever again.

I don't know which case you bought, but I have found that their clear cases are just way too stiff for me. I had one for my 5s and I was the same way, I was afraid that I was going to damage my phone just by trying to take it off. I know that may sound crazy, because the 5s is one tough phone, but I just haven't bought a clear Speck case since because of it.

I have bad memories of bending a SE slightly even with just a tight TPU case...

I've had Speck cases on my 5, 6 (Candyshell Grip) and now the XR (Presidio Grip). They can be a tight fit, some more than others. I usually pull the case off my phones about once a month to clean them but with my 6 it was so tight that I'd wait a couple of months or more between cleanings because I was concerned about bending. Fact is, though, that the phones are a lot tougher than you imagine and mine were never damaged getting the cases off. In fact, I had my 6 for 4-1/2 years and had to replace the Speck case after 2 years because it began to split at the bottom.

IMHO iPhones are ultra-slippery. I love the Speck cases I've used for their grippy factor and I've never dropped any of my phones. No exaggeration - never.

BTW, on their site Speck has video instructions for case removal.

I tried a Speck candy shell for my old iphone & it was darn near impossible to remove. Really crappy design & totally unecessarily tight. No need to worry about dropping & breaking the phone when taking it out of the case is much more hazardous. In my opinion these cases are garbage

I was checking online recommendation for case early on and someone recommended speck case. So I bought it, then damn... so hard to install. Then I quickly realise it is even harder to remove it from the case. Sure, it is great for protection but...
I am gonna return that case while I still have time.
