Are you removing it permanently or planning to reuse in the future?

Use a toothpick, it's wood so it wouldn't scratch anything.

Ive been trying that but i cant seem to lift the edge without pushing into the skin and deforming it.

Duct Tape Works

I typically use a piece of duct tape. Firmly attach it to the skin and then gently lift off. It works best if you affix the tape on or near the corner. This way assures no damage to the skin....
