Hello guys/gals

I need help I just installed Mac OSX 10.5 and on the login screen it has an option for "Others..." right under my name. I am te only person using my MBP and I do not want that option there I searched through google and apple support pages for hours and can not find the answer. If anyone can shed some light on this matter I will greatly appreciate it, thank you very much

It looks like that except I only have my name and the option of "Other..." right under it

"Other..." would be a network user account. If I don't set my office machines to username and password for the login window that's what it looks like.

It's usually the root account. You can find out how to disable root accounts here. It's a good idea not to have this enabled if you're not using it.

i cant disable it because there is no root account, anyone else?

thanks for the help but i tried that before i asked this question
