Removing recent recipients from mail

Has this feature been removed? Pressing the 'i' next to the email address doesn't give me the option to remove it from most recents.

I just tap in the header and edit the recipient list. Have been doing that from the beginning.

That's my point though, my 6S+ isn't throwing up the option to do so.

That's weird, for the iOS mail app I just go into the headers and edit the recipient list. Gmail app the same thing.

So you're still able to amend the most recent list? I'm on 9.0.1, I wonder if this has been fixed in 9.0.2...

Okay, now I get what you are saying. No I can't remove any contact in the recents.

It's not there in 9.0. I could be wrong but I think someone mentioned that it's there in 9.1 betas.
