Removing 'Reminders' from Mail Application

How do I completely remove the Reminders section from Mail?. I am running the latest Lion/Mail Version 5.2 (1257). Thanks!

If you have any flagged messages or sync notes with an iOS device or an email service that supports notes, there will be a Reminders section in Mail. You can click the Hide option to the right of the word Reminders to shrink it down to one line, but to get rid of it entirely you will need to unflag any flagged messages and delete any notes you have.
