Weird issue, had an Apple TV I removed, reset, wiped and then removed from iCloud devices as well. However HomeKit is still showing it. Can't get rid of it. Any ideas? My only idea is to set the device backup, go through the whole process and remove it again to see if that helps. Prefer not to do that.

You may have to re-add it. I dealt with a phantom hub earlier this year where an AppleTV managed to duplicate itself in the list of hubs, the duplicate of course was unresponsive. I assume you've checked the "room" that AppleTV is in and made sure it's gone from that screen?
