Hello everyone.
We are having some trouble here with the Files.app on iPad OS. We connect a shared instrument iPad to a Windows network share via Files.app. Once ejected from Files.app and go to remap the share(either by typing it in again or using the recent servers) , the credentials are stored even if we remove the share from the recent server list. Is there a way to remove the stored credentials at all?
Thank you for your time.

What version of iPadOS is the iPad on? Have you tried updating to the latest version of iPadOS to see if the bug is fixed?

I think this is the dilemma of using a single user device in a shared environment. I cannot find any way to delete the credentials. They are not in Keychain. I tested this and you are correct that the credentials are saved, but they are not accessible via keychain (settings/passwords and accounts/website and app passwords).

You might try resetting network settings to see if that takes care of it, but doing that also removes stored wifi passwords etc.

I can see where this is a problem but not sure how to solve.

Thanks for the reply. IOS 13.1 on device. I’m gonna try another free app. I think should be an option to save or not the credentials when configuring he remote share.
Best regards.
