I was looking over some photos from a recent holiday and one of my favourite photos was taken from inside the plane. However, it has some smear marks due to the dirty the window. Whats the easiest way to get rid of these marks and how would I go about doing this?

Thanks in advance.

Have you tried the clone/heal brush in either Lightroom or Aperture? Youtube will give you examples if you aren't sure how to access it.

If you are using Photoshop Elements 9 or 10 or Photoshop, the Healing Brush works well. I have removed a car radio antenna from photos taken out of a car window.
