Removing sparceimage

I created it to put sensitive files into. I've removed the files and want to delete the 'drive'. Do I just move it to the trash or what?

Also.. When you set the size limit what exactly does that do? Does it just limit the amount of data the 'drive' can hold or does it actually make a partition?

to delete it, just drag the .dmg file to the trash.

and when you create it, you set the limit of how big it can be. a sparse image though, takes up only the space of the files actually placed inside of it, up to that limit.

Just put it in the trash and empty the trash. The disk image is gone.

Yeah that's what i figured just wasn't sure.

What would you use the 'restore' option for?

Restore in DiskUtility? It's for cloning drives and images. And it doesn't work so well.
