Ok, this is on a windows PC, but i'm on a few forums and you guys seam to have the best info about pretty much everything so i figure i'll ask here as well.

i'd like to get rid of Ubuntu Linux, but keep the partition it made, as well as the boot loader... i would like to put another OS on in its place. is there a way to do this that dosen't involve me giving up my social life for a week?

thanks in advance.

just run the install cd for the new os, and where it asks you where to install select the ubuntu partition

you might need to reinstall your bootloader if you do this though, but usually the os install cd will do that for you
