Ok, lets say that I have some decoded VOB files demuxed into component streams via MacTheRipper. Now I want to recombine those streams into valid VOB files and a DVD file structure. Is there any free/open source applications to do such a thing?

I am basically attempting to rip some DVDs without re-compressing them and I can get them down the DVD5 size by ripping only the main movie and the English AC3 audio track. The only way I can see to get JUST those things is to use the demuxer in MTR, but then I am left with non usable files.

Thanks in advance,
Rob

Rip the entire DVD with MTR and then use Roxio Popcorn, use the movie only, main audio only options. If it will fit on a DVD5 Roxio won't recode/compress the original. No, this isn't freeware.

If you want to spend countless hours of your time screwing with it, you should be able to do something similar with ffmpegX.
