My daughter got a new iPod and gave me her old one. Nice kid - especially since I bought her the old one, and the new one. 🙂

Anyway - how do I go about renaming my "new" iPod?

u mean on the about screen/ when it appears in itunes? double click, like renaming a playlist, hit enter. it reverts to the old one for a second, then changes to the nu one, at least in intues 5.0. havent tried yet in 6.0

Just name it "iPod." I hate when people mooch music off of me and their iPod mounts as "DiCk'S pUbE sTyLiN' tUnEs!!!"

Got it

Thanks to all for the input - I had tried to "just click and change" but it didn't appear to work the first time. Went back and got the job done.

Note to BurtonCCC - couldn't agree more, but I did add my name - Jims iPod - to differentiate from others.
