Hi, I saved a link to my home screen as a web clip. I want to change the text under the clip. Can I do that, or do I just need to recreate it?

You can but its pretty complicated. If your ipod touch is hacked you can go to /Applications/ and there will be a bunch of long random number named apps; these are the webclips. You'll have to look through these and open their info.plist files (these may be in binary, in which case you'll need to have erica's utilities installed, including plutil, and convert them to xml) to find the right one, and then changing the text within those should be pretty obvious.

I don't remember if these are in binary or not, but there's a possibility that you could locate the file in finder (make sure the setting for system files is on) and open the plist in the MobileTextEditor app, and just find the spot that lists the incorrect name.

So...overall...prbly not worth it
