Renaming a User in Macintosh HD

Hi, I recently bought a second hand Macbook Pro off eBay and the Macintosh HD user name is the previous owner's and I would like it changed. I have looked on other threads and tried to follow the instructions however none have worked.

To clarify, the name i want changed is from Macintosh HD-->Users-->and from there the main user name.

Your best be is to create an account that you want it called and then remove the old one.
