Rent on One Device, Watch on Another

This may seem like a stupid question, but if I rent an AppleTV+ movie on my MacBook, can I then watch it on my Amazon FireTV stick with the AppleTV app? The AppleTV app on the Fire stick doesn't allow in-app purchases on that device. Thanks in advance.

Yes, just don't download the movie on your MacBook. Not sure if it's different now, but that has caused me issues in the past.
