Repair my macbookair 2014 or get a new one????

Hi!

I've been quoted $900 to repair my MacBook Air 2014 due to water damage which they initially didn't believe was the problem. Should I get the parts replaced that are responsible for my laptop not charging or just get a brand new one and put my old sd?? Card in. Not very Mac savvy. Need help!!thank you!

Buy new, you'll get another full year warranty and be able to put apple care+ on it incase you get careless again...

But the warranty doesn't cover water damage, neither does apple care....

Did you get an itemized list of what parts apple will replace in your laptop? Apple might want to replace some things not actually responsible for the issue, for example if you have an issue and your case has a dent they will want to replace the case as well, so an independent repair shop might be less expensive.

Buy new, you'll get another full year warranty and be able to put apple care+ on it incase you get careless again...

CHECK THE REFURB STORE I SAW ONE FOR 889 SAME AS NEW WARRANTY ETC
