I sent my husbands phone in because husbands signal wasn't working. We still have like 20 days warranty on it but they don't want to replace it without me paying for the screen that was minimally chipped. Have you had this problem? Is there a way around this?

I would think they can not deny your warranty claim unless they can prove that the chipped screen is the cause of the issue.
Thats what I said but they are saying they can't open the phone without cracking the screen more!!! Like the chip it has is tiny and has nothing to do with the cell signal

Weird I got 2 brand new replacements for signal issues in less than two months (iPhone 7+), granted I had no damage. I would assume they’d do the same for you. In the event that they would have to open the phone then they have to pry out the screen to reach the internals in which case a compromised screen could actually crack in that process.
