I just got off of the phone with an apple technical support representative after seeing that my repair status read, "no problem found","shipping original product". This burned me, I know I have the negative-blacks, glittery screen issue (It gives me headaches). The representative contacted a specialist to find out more info. on my iPod Touch, she said that they, "hooked it up to the tester and upgraded your iPod with the latest firmware and software" (hmm...I thought I had already done that). From what she said, this isn't the same software/firmware that is being distributed through iTunes at this time, and that she is certain my issue will be fixed (really?! even the dead pixels??) I'm calling B.S.
Did anyone else run into this situation? Should I just take it to an Apple store?
