I tried using terminal to back up a home folder from a laptop then place it inside the users network home folder. Well it worked but the permissions are all jacked now so they cant see any of there files.
In server admin I fixed the permissions for ACL but cant figure how to propagate the POSIX list.
Maybe I did this all wrong but I just need the permissions fixed, all the files are there. Help Please!

I'm an infrequent user of unix, but I've used both CHOWN and the CHMOD commands to fix things with permissions. Maybe you could look up the usage on one or both of those.

    Good luck.
