Repairing Apple Lisa

I have a Apple Lisa and it wasn't turning on so I cleaned the contacts on the computer and now it turns on and the Screen is showing a white line through the screen. What can I do to get it working?

Is it a horizontal line or a vertical line?

Could be a dozen things on gear of this age.

Burnt out pot's on the video board, dry or cracked solder joints, failed TDA1170... the list goes on...

Your problem is the capacitor to the right of the processor. Clip 1 leg and press the reset on the back of it while trying to boot or replace it. I did it to a few of my Lisa's and they are all working now. Hope this helps!
