So I have a Late 2009 21.5" iMac. On Sept. 12th I brought it in for repair because of a faulty display. Got it back on the 19th and brought it back in again the next day because the display was flickering and yellow tint on the bottom. Just got it back today and guess what? Yellow tint is still there. It's been in the Apple Store for 2 weeks, What should I do? It's already had 3 repairs now.

If it's covered by AppleCare then you can request a replacement machine. If it not covered you need to take it back and ask to speak to a manager to explain your situation.

You can't request anything. There is no official policy or law that demands Apple to replace the whole machine after three repairs. You can always ask for a replacement, but it's not a guarantee that you will get one.

Gave AppleCare a call this morning. 3 hours later I walked out of my AppleStore with the high-end 21.5" model.

Hellhammer,

Please re-read my post. I said if it's covered by AppleCare he can request a replacement. He can request anything he wants however what Apple does is 100% Apple's decision.
