Hey everyone, I am new to macs and I was wondering if any mac-tech-savvy individuals could help me out. Here is my situation.

I bought my 2.4 alum macbook last Wed. I took it home and Friday it crashed from a "kernel panic" while I was only listening to iTunes. I took it into the apple store and they replaced it for me no questions asked.

Now that was saturday, monday it crashed again in the same way, only this time I was using Safari only. I called the tech support and the guy basically told me it was probably my fault, and to call back if it happens again.

Thankfully it hasn't but I definitely want to prevent it from happening again. So here is what I have on here that may be "causing" it.

I moved from a PC, and all I have moved are documents, music and pictures. I have it set up with a time capsule I bought a few months ago (my wife uses it also with her PC). I also use my old Dell PC mouse sometimes. Now I know the second time I was using that when it crashed, but the first time I can't remember (could this possibly be causing it somehow??? the tech guy seemed unsettled that I wasn't using a APPLE mouse)

Below is my panic log (which someone told me to look at). Someone help me solve this mystery! I thought Macs weren't supposed to crash!!!

My suggestion is to make a genius bar appointment, if you have the time. You might have to leave the MB overnight so they can run diagnostics but it think that is your best bet.

i would suggest tying a reinstall before you try and get it replaced before? maybe youve put something on there it doesnt like. onlt backup your music, photos, docs etc. and try an Erase and Install and see if that helps.
