Hey everyone, I am new to macs and I was wondering if any mac-tech-savvy individuals could help me out. Here is my situation.
I bought my 2.4 alum macbook last Wed. I took it home and Friday it crashed from a "kernel panic" while I was only listening to iTunes. I took it into the apple store and they replaced it for me no questions asked.
Now that was saturday, monday it crashed again in the same way, only this time I was using Safari only. I called the tech support and the guy basically told me it was probably my fault, and to call back if it happens again.
Thankfully it hasn't but I definitely want to prevent it from happening again. So here is what I have on here that may be "causing" it.
I moved from a PC, and all I have moved are documents, music and pictures. I have it set up with a time capsule I bought a few months ago (my wife uses it also with her PC). I also use my old Dell PC mouse sometimes. Now I know the second time I was using that when it crashed, but the first time I can't remember (could this possibly be causing it somehow??? the tech guy seemed unsettled that I wasn't using a APPLE mouse)
Below is my panic log (which someone told me to look at). Someone help me solve this mystery! I thought Macs weren't supposed to crash!!!
