Replace dust drive with second hard drive?

I know that there would not be proper mounting, but wouldn't another HD hook up to the SATA ports that are used for the dust drive?

This would be real cool if possible.

The optical drive. I never use it and actually wish there was an option to remove it all together.

Well it gets too confusion to the regular consumer if there are too many options. Anyways, you can probably remove it, but I don't think there is an enclosure for a 9.5mm optical drive replacement yet.
