iPhone 17 Pro Max Replace iPhone 17 PM Back Glass with 18 PM?

Hey guys, it’s not even out yet but some of the pictures I’m seeing of the 18PM rendered have a much less 2-tone design to the back of the iPhone, much less of a colour difference between glass and metal.

Question: Do you think it will be possible to swap the back out from a 17PM to 18 PM?

also you don't know if the 18 Pro Max back glass is the same exact size at the 17 Pro Max back glass.

There will be hundreds of people that will know that already, all apple employees.

Assuming it is possible, you will not get any of those people to actually do it for you. It's not Apple's policy to replace parts on one model with parts from a different model. They won't do it. And especially so, if the part you want replaced isn't broken.

You may be thinking, "I can pay them to do it". And they will decline. They do not replace parts under warranty for aesthetic reasons, they won'd do it for payment either.

So, that'll either be YOU doing it or someone else (who claims they can do it).

BTW. Replacing back glass requires special tools that only Apple has. Good luck!
