them shops are that light everything glows!
Anyway, wether i'm looking for defects or not, they shouldn't be there!
maybe im being ignorant, but my Samsung Tv has no faults, physical or technical neither does my Ps3, my Macbook or anything else i own.
What do you think? Do it/don't?
I don't have any issues otherwise and I know quite a few, if not most of them, have light leak. I know there are some that don't, for example my father's doesn't have it. But i'm wondering if it's worth replacing or not.
I've already done a few swaps with 3G and I did a million with the first gen when I had the most intense electronic OCD.
The only problem is the fact that there is no light at the back of the 'phonewhat do you guys think of a transparent apple logo on back like the macbooks. I think it's a neat use of the internal light you guys are seeing but I kind of think the reflective apple is already more of a billboard than I;d like.
how do i know if my iphone has light leakage, ive never noticed it on mine but then i don't know where it would occur!
Help!
I posted this in 2 other threads about "light leaks". It's quick and easy to fix I wouldnt bother returning it.
All you need is a razor blade. In between the glass and the bezel there is a thin rubber seal. If you place the razor blade between the glass and that rubber seal you can GENTLY massage the seal outwards from the glass to under the bezel so that you can cover the light leaks. I had about 5 "leaks" going up the entire left side of my phone and now don't have any. Not too big of a deal but it was so easy and quick to fix I figured I'd share.
I may be easily satisfied but - what's all the fuss about? There we have it, one in a light room just to show that i'm not obsessing under a duvet looking for light leaks, its quite evident its very noticeable in a lit room.
The other photo is what it looks like when using it at night.
Probably try the razor blade "fix", but apart from that, nothing - apart from generally looking after it!So what would you do in my position
In that case, I'd try to get it replacedI feel like i've been given a sub standard phone in replacement for one which was fine for 9 months.
