Hi

Someone once told me that Apple will replace a product if you bought it and it gets upgraded within 2 weeks.

Is this true? If I buy a MacBook today, and they release new ones next week, can I go in and swap it?

You have 2 weeks (upgrade or not). However, if 3 weeks comes along and they have an update, dont expect them to say "Sure we'll give you the new one!"

If you can live without it, i would say hold off a little while, because It looks like you want the newest model

I've been pro-Pc/anti-Mac my entire life, and I've finally decided to just get a Mac, I am actually so super excited, I just want to get one right now, but with the rumors of new ones on the horizon, I am finding it really hard to stay away from my Apple store!!!
