I just replaced the logic board of a C2D Macbook Pro (not unibody) because the previous owner spilled coke on the keyboard. It boots up, everything is working, but the fan is on at full blast. With SMC Fan Control, it shows 0C. I'm currently updating Snow Leopard to be the most current, but what is causing the thermal sensor to read incorrectly? Did I buy a bad logic board?

It could be a number of things but this one stands out to me:

the previous owner spilled coke on the keyboard
Theres a temp sensor located on the keyboard ribbon cable. Power the system on without the keyboard plugged in and I will bet the fans work properly.
