Hello we recently tried to replace my macbook screen because we read that it was fairly simple and it would cost us about $200 less.

We got the screen in place and we got everything back in, but when we put the keyboard on it didn't fit properly.

The keyboard doesn't sit flush on the back spine of the computer.
Has anyone had this problem?
What might be the cause of this problem?

Thank you

Check out ifixit.com. They have full color images of the entire tare down process. It should help you get the keyboard back in. Just to not make sure the keyboard is firmly connected. If not it the connection could become loose with use causeing you to open it back up to re connect it.

Yeah we followed many tutorials and guides but we still don't understand what the problem is.

Well ideally, if you only replaced the display there would be little need to take out any parts under the top case beside the metal clutch blocks on the left and right side and maybe the optical drive. Are both sides sticking up or are you able to put one side of the top case back on and have it sit flush? What parts did you take out of the unit to replace the display?
